Welcome to Crematica. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and the purchase of coffee machines, grinders, accessories and related equipment from our business. By accessing our website or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any transaction.

General Provisions

Crematica operates as a registered business in the United Kingdom, with our primary showroom located at 41 Paisley Road, Renfrew PA4 8LG. We specialize in premium coffee equipment for both domestic and commercial applications. All transactions conducted through our website or in person at our showroom are subject to these terms. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, with changes taking effect immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

When you place an order with Crematica, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and are at least eighteen years of age. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during the purchase process. Any fraudulent or misleading information may result in immediate cancellation of your order and potential legal action.

Product Information and Pricing

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, specifications and pricing information displayed on our website are accurate and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee that all information is completely error-free. Product images are for illustrative purposes and may differ slightly from the actual item you receive. Minor variations in color, finish or design may occur due to manufacturing processes or photographic representation.

All prices are listed in British Pounds Sterling and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. However, price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed. In the event of a significant pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund rather than honor an incorrect price. Additional charges may apply for delivery, installation services or extended warranty packages, and these will be clearly indicated before you complete your purchase.

Order Process and Acceptance

When you place an order through our website or in our showroom, you will receive an acknowledgment confirming receipt of your order. This acknowledgment does not constitute acceptance of your order. Your order represents an offer to purchase products from Crematica, which we may accept or decline at our discretion. A contract between you and Crematica is formed only when we dispatch the goods or confirm availability for collection.

We reserve the right to refuse any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or concerns about fraudulent activity. If we are unable to fulfill your order, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide a full refund of any payment already received. For custom orders or special requests, additional terms may apply, and these will be communicated to you before finalizing the transaction.

Payment Terms

Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. We accept various payment methods including credit cards, debit cards and bank transfers. All payment information is processed securely through encrypted channels. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the total amount of your order, including any applicable delivery charges, installation fees or warranty extensions.

For commercial orders exceeding certain thresholds, we may offer payment terms subject to credit approval. Such arrangements require completion of a credit application and acceptance of additional commercial terms. Late payments may incur interest charges at the statutory rate, and we reserve the right to suspend delivery or service until outstanding balances are settled.

Delivery and Installation

Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed unless specifically stated in writing. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver within the timeframe indicated, but delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including supplier issues, shipping complications or force majeure events. Crematica is not liable for any losses or damages resulting from delivery delays.

For machines weighing over fifteen kilograms, we offer white glove delivery and installation services. This includes unpacking, positioning the equipment, initial calibration and a walkthrough of basic operation. You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is accessible and suitable for the equipment being installed. If our installation team encounters obstacles that prevent proper setup, additional charges may apply for return visits. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery, and you should inspect all items immediately upon receipt and report any damage within twenty-four hours.

Warranties and Guarantees

All new equipment sold by Crematica comes with a manufacturer warranty, with minimum coverage periods varying by product category as specified at the time of purchase. We act as an intermediary for warranty claims and will assist you in processing any necessary repairs or replacements under the manufacturer's warranty terms. Extended warranty options are available for most products and provide additional coverage beyond the standard manufacturer period.

Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, unauthorized modifications or use of incompatible accessories. Regular descaling and maintenance are essential for espresso machines, and failure to perform these tasks may void warranty coverage. We recommend following all manufacturer guidelines and using only approved cleaning products and spare parts.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crematica's total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms or your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunities or reputational damage.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
